The Healing Touch of Reiki

Reiki (pronounced ray-kee) is a healing art used for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. Reiki is a form of energy healing that can alleviate physical, emotional, mental and spiritual stress.

Reiki is an ancient healing art used for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. Reiki helps to balance the body’s energy, thereby enhancing the healing process. Reiki’s goal is to restore and maintain balance by dissolving and eliminating any toxic energy whether its physical, mental, emotional or spiritual.  The Fight/Flight and Freeze response creates Dis-Ease which promotes Disease. Reiki shifts your body’s stress response from the Fight/Flight and Freeze state and to a Rest, Restore and Healing state.

Your heartrate and blood pressure decrease and the immune system focuses on healing the body, physically, mentally and emotionally.  Reiki helps to alleviate pain, anxiety, stress and depression, calms the nervous system, releases emotional blockages, improves sleep, and so much more. Reiki helps to get our body into a healing mode, so it can do what it naturally wants to do, heal itself!

Reiki is effective in treating many ailments and is currently used in many hospitals throughout the United States such as Sloan Kettering (rated number 6 in the country), Cedars-Sinai, John Hopkins and many others. ​

 

A typical Reiki treatment lasts 45 minutes to an hour. The client lies clothed on a massage table in a room conducive to the treatment.  Many describe the experience as a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through them with feelings of peace, warmth and well-being. Reiki is a safe, highly effective healing modality whose popularity is rapidly growing throughout the country.

Distance Reiki can be used to heal from a distance if an In-Person treatment is not possible. Experience Healing without leaving the comfort of your own home!​​​​

Long Distance Reiki also known as Remote Reiki does not require recipients to be in the same physical place, it’s a healing technique that transcends space and time!  So, whether you’re dealing with chronic pain, depression, stress or anxiety, Reiki’s energy healing will help you come back to your true alignment, the power of your highest self, facilitating relief, healing, relaxation, and peace, all in the comfort of your home.

Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra®

Yoga Nidra is a form of guided meditation also known as “Yogic Sleep” or “effortless relaxation.” It’s practiced lying down while I guide the session. The goal is for the body to be completely relaxed while the mind is awake and focused inward, finding its natural state of equilibrium. Yoga Nidra can improve sleep, calm anxiety and stress levels, release tension and reduce pain, enhance cognition and memory, and so much more. Twenty minutes of Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra can feel like 2 to 3 hours sleep!

Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra®

Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra® is a guided meditation that has the power to transform, heal and rejuvenate you at your core levels.  

Through the use of body sensing, breath awareness, guided imagery and other practices, you are systematically guided on a journey through your whole being called the koshas.

 

This will help you catch up on any lost sleep! 20 minutes of yoga nidra is equated with 3 hours of sleep. This practice can bring your mind into its healing, restful state suspended between being awake and asleep where you can receive the ultimate power-nap that goes well beyond normal sleep.

Experience deeper levels of inner relaxation than you ever imagined possible. Give yourself permission to rest, balance and restore, tapping into new sources of energy. This inspired meditation practice will awaken your whole being, allowing you to enjoy life fully. There is nothing required of you but to lie down and listen.

Hi, I’m Cindy

A Certified Reiki Master-Teacher-Practitioner, and a Certified Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra Practitioner (a guided healing meditation), Certified Yoga Teacher and Certified Chair Yoga Practitioner.

My healing sessions help you rest, heal, balance and restore, creating shifts on a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level.

If you’re feeling stressed, in pain, fatigued, anxious, depressed or disconnected, Reiki and Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra helps to calm, relax and reduce stress, decrease anxiety, improve sleep, increase energy, lower heart rate and blood pressure and strengthen the immune system.

From my healing space in Westminster, I offer both In-person and Distance Reiki and Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra. You may experience these healing modalities In-Person or from the comfort of your own home by Phone or Zoom. I also offer these modalities to clients Nationally and Internationally.
